Some in the Boston media think Hayward to the Celts is already done deal. I don't know if that is based on anything other that wishful thinking or real insider knowledge or whatever.

He'd have to leave that extra year and guaranteed money on the table. A lot of money just to play with your college coach but it would be cool.

Stevens and the Eastern conference are really the only reasons to leave the Jazz. Snyder is a really good coach though.

Are we sure the Celtics would play him over their untouchable assets they already have?

Terry Rozier is a future All-Star.

Did the Spurs remember they are playing today?

They don't have the players to match up with what the Rockets want to do out there.

Yeah, not a great matchup for them.

I'm just ready for Markeiff Morris to be done.

Warriors WCF sweep

Cavs ECF sweep and we're back to last season without this season even mattering at all.

You pretty much know what 3-5 teams are going to make the Finals every year. It's fun to watch the other 25-27teams develop and grow (or completely fall apart).

At least garbage teams can cycle to the top with good management or luck, unlike European soccer where it's usually the same couple teams at the top every year. The warriors used to be shit and someday they will be shit again.

Yup, the salary cap and draft lottery keep it interesting enough. It is fun to go back and look at the teams in the playoffs just 5 or 10 years ago to see how the tides shift.

I heard a stat recently that the only teams not to play in at least one conference finals since 2001 are the Wizards, Hornets, and Clippers. That seems insane, but I'm struggling to disprove it off the top of my head.

Haha, Clippers.
