50% Chilis. 50% Killers. 0% PJ.
Like the initial guitar sound and the swooping bass. Becomes less appealing when the drum machine kicks in.
But I'm loving that they're trying something different.

He will try to out do the guitars with his voice as usual.

Sounds good so far. I agree with other assessments and will just say it’s not SO far off a Dirty Frank vibe, which was the Pearl Jam sounding like Chili Peppers song. Probably a bit more serious subject matter going to happen. I have a hard time imagining eddie’s vocals being something other than quick paced, but we will find out soon enough.

Another lurker here dragged out of the woodwork by new PJ music...
I could see a vocal melody on this similar to the verses from Of the Earth.

It's the northern lights not outer space!
Localized entirely within that video.
At this time of year?

There's no way those cymbal sounds are anything other than a drum machine. Surely not.

Sounds to me like it's a break in between verses or a bridge where everything drops out for a few seconds. Very intriguing but still doesn't really give much of anything away.

Those cymbal ticks in the background? Yeah, machine-made. Live, I imagine Cameron will use triggers for that.
