I dont know which is worse: the bowls or the NCAA tournament. If you don’t get into either, you’re basically in the bottom 10% of college athletics

I don’t even think about watching many of them these days. Maybe if it’s a good matchup of top ten teams, but even then I’m just paying half attention.

Off the top of my head it’s like 80 football teams out of ~130 that make bowls. It’s 68 out of like 350-400 basketball teams that make the tourney.

Wisconsin can never get over the hump into the CFP, so that’s sorta worn down my interest.

They should be able to get into the new playoff format regularly, unless they’ve truly regressed to pre-Alvarez mediocrity.

considering that 6 automatic bids go to conference champions and the remaining 6 at large bids go to the next highest ranked teams, this statement sounds kind of delusional to be honest.

yeah but of those 350-400, only like 85 have legitimate shot at making the tournament.

Yeah fair enough. They had a run of finishing in the top 10-12 like 3 out of 4 years pre Covid.
