Wouldn’t an e-bike just be a moped?
Well in some way it is. You can adjust how much it assist you so that you don't have to pedal so much to get the bike moving, but there are also models that go 30mph and you don't have to pedal at all.wease wrote:Wouldn’t an e-bike just be a moped?

Would e-bikers be more inclined to actually obey stop signs, since keeping momentum isn’t as crucial an issue?Bi_3 wrote:contamination wrote:Well in some way it is. All the asshattery of a cyclist combined with all the risks of a motorcycle

Saw this but forgot to answer. Which did you get and how has it been? I use Breathe Right at the moment but they're somewhat expensive on this part of the globe so I'd rather use something else. The problem is that I haven't found another nasal strip brand which would have the "spring" which to me is essential. I did try AirMax but somehow that irritated my sinuses.spike wrote:while the strip works well for me, i've noticed it irritating the skin on my nose a bit. so purely from a vanity standpoint, going to give the cones a go tonight.contamination wrote:Have either of you tried nose cones, e.g. AirMax or Max-Air? Well, they definitely work but my nose looked flared out for like an hour after taking it off. Not sure it's gonna be an every night thing.https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21819762/Conclusion: Although both the Max-Air Nose Cones and the Breathe Right nasal strips increased PNIF from baseline, the Max-Air Nose Cones showed significantly greater efficacy at stenting the anterior nasal airway, providing twice the improvement in PNIF over baseline than did the Breathe Right nasal the strips.
They’ve worked as well and maybe a bit better than strips. They do fall out in the night sometimes. Here’s the product: https://a.co/d/j97Sw8Acontamination wrote:Saw this but forgot to answer. I’ve been contemplating these as well. Been getting a kind of smearing effect across the windshield lately.bodysnatcher wrote:New windshield wipers
There are trees that hang over part of my parking area that drip a lot of sap, which screwed up the rubber blades in mine. It was time to change them anyway, gotta keep them fresh for the wild thunderstorms that come through.wease wrote:I’ve been contemplating these as well. O, I got a zoo, I got a menagerie, inside my ribs, under my bony head, under my red-valve heart—and I got something else: it is a man-child heart, a woman-child heart: it is a father and mother and lover: it came from God-Knows-Where: it is going to God-Knows-Where—For I am the keeper of the zoo: I say yes and no: I sing and kill and work: I am a pal of the world: I came from the wilderness.
