Re: 2024 Tour Rumors and Speculation
I've listened to all of them, some multiple times. I don't have any specific versions that stand out musically, but I haven't been comparing. They all were pretty damn good, i believe and I really like the mixing on these boots, also.Birds in Hell wrote:I’ve been going through a similar process:
Scared of Fear: Sacramento
React, Respond: Sacramento
Wreckage: Vancouver 1
Dark Matter: LA 1
Won’t Tell: Vancouver 1
Upper Hand: Vancouver 1
Running: Sacramento
Running at Vancouver 1 was also great but Ed’s chatter goes straight into the drum intro
Funny how much this list sticks to two shows but that’s just how it shakes out for me, having heard them all.
Without recalling or considering the actual musical performances, i'd say that the definitive Waiting for Stevie version eithers needs to be the debut, including the lead-in chatter, or the one where the lead-in chatter is the mentions of all the Stevies. I don't know which ones there are tho lol.
Also Something Special is dedicated to his daughters in attendance at one of the shows, so that probably should get a close listen also i guess.
All the Setting Suns run together, who knows, apparently it's an every show closer staple now.

Philly Night 1 for me. Maybe night 2 if I find a spare. I missed the memo on the B'more show, had tickets in 2020. I have always wanted to see them in Philly

Right up there with J-Lo's "I need to work on my marriage" excuse.dimejinky99 wrote:tragabigzanda wrote:Some of these upcoming UK shows seem to be shockingly undersold

Tour will still happen. Josh was brought in to replace Stone. Deal with it.

Have they ever played without a member? Even one missing?

They did do that one gig in San Francisco when ed was sick and went off after 7 songs and Neil Young took over.

Didn’t know that.
This should be fine then I guess.
