I can't help but think how much more epic this album would have been with Of the Earth in place of Sleeping By Myself. I don't hate Sleeping By Myself,but it feels so out of place. Of the Earth would have fit perfect in its place.. Im not feeling Infallible. I'm finding it boring.. Yellow moon is kicking my ass though as well as the rest of the album.

I can see how these scores could seem a little generous, but I was taking into account my expectations - it certainly doesn't touch Vitalogy - RA era Pearl Jam, but I think it is a better album than the last two.

yeah, i'm on my second listen and the cringes have been very minimal. i think i've only been able to listen to backspacer in full like three times.
