yeah, i like it a lot, and i usually don't go for this kind of beer. of course, the first one i opened fizzed up everywhere , so my dog got to enjoy about a quarter of a bottle on the floor. at 37 pounds, he should be hammered.

I tried a few beer for the first time today and really enjoyed all of them. Maine Brewing's Mo Pale Ale first. It was awesome and reminded me a lot of Two Hearted. Then I cracked the Bourbon County Coffee. Perfection. Then Piercing Pils From DFH. Nice to have a winner from them for once. A good beer day all around.

I've been looking to get a single of the DFH since I'm not a huge pilsner guy but a solid beer is a solid beer.
Maine Brewing has only top notch brews, Mo was very good from memory.
Had a BCS on tap Friday night, definitely head and shoulders above last years release. No sign of any bottles variants around these parts.

I grabbed a single because DFH is such a crapshoot. It was clean and crisp, as a Pils should be, with the pear coming through at the end. Odd, but good like a lot of their beers

24 more hours til I'm home and can enjoy a good beer..pretty sure I've lost 10 lbs...lager is for the birds

DFH had a good pils a year or so ago, I forget the name of it. My Antonia or something like that. I really enjoyed that one. But when I'm in the mood my go to pilsener is Victory Prima Pils

I drank Beck's beer today, I thought it tasted like pumpkin pie.

How's Bear Republic's black stout? I picked up a bomber on a whim and plan on enjoying it tonight.

Had a vienna style lager from these guys out of VA. Really good stuff.

That's a great special occasion beer.

Ballast Point is making some of the best beer I've had recently. I've had Sculpin and Sea Monster countless times, but tonight I splurged and grabbed a bomber of their Victory at Sea. Coffee and vanilla imperial porter. it's 29 degrees outside, so this is likely the only night of the year that I can truly enjoy this beer here in Houston.

Ballast Point is a fantastic brewery, just wish I could get their stuff more often on the east coast. Sculpin is one of the best IPAs in my opinion. I've really found myself enjoying American IPAs over DIPAs a lot lately.

Had this last night. Very delicious.
