Just one cup in the morning for me. I have a Nespresso, so it's low acid, which is a must IMO. Occasionally I might have some decaf in the afternoon or after dinner, but that's pretty rare.

Motors Coffee. It was 100% on purpose. The beans were in a fridge marked “super expensive shit.”
We’re staying in the 3rd again, and I’ve got more places to hit, but hit me with your recs for sure!
I’ve been to Tanat, which used to be Kawa. Also, Motors and I/O. Going to Substance tomorrow. Also, have plans to hit up Telescope, Dreaming Man, maybe Le Peloton.
For reference, I’m only into filter coffee (hand brew/V60) no milk or sweetener.

I drove thru Paris last month. I didn't see any spots that accepted Euro though. Very strange.

blacksmith is the OG and going strong, but I like xela roasters. Walkup stand with a small patio. Bottled cold brew with good mixer options. No bullshit.

Ive been into a Nespresso frenzy this last month, Roma and Ristretto. Damn those two are good. I bought so many they gave a very cool little cup for free.

normally, I have two cups every morning, which I brew in the drip with beans I buy from local shops/roasters…and it’s the best. a nice little ritual to start my day. If I had more time I’d make myself a pour over. Two cups is my limit though.
The last couple of nights I’ve had very poor sleep, and I’ve been dragging ass to get through the day.
This morning I opted to go to this little cafe in our building to get a third cup. I knew going in it was going to taste terrible, and that it’s only to serve as vehicle for more caffeine.
It is bad.

I go from three to five cups every morning but im trying to go down to two. Its not easy with Nespresso because its so easy to make them i just put the fucking thing and drink. Roma is very tasty and intense, one of my favorites.

Sometimes what I will do is get a flat white from a shop, and then whenever I get to work I will pour some drip coffee into the cup that has the remnants of foam from the flat white. You can take that life hack to the bank.
