Yes.

Honestly I hope that black hole gets you.

B falls into black hole.

The matter that makes up B's body is torn to shreds, all the way down to the quantum level.

Quarks are spit out the other side of the Black Hole into an alternate dimension's big bang as a universe that mirrors our own is born.

13.8 billion years pass.

B posts on message board, "Is it bad that I'm underwhelmed?"

Classic B.

Well, I mean black holes are pretty amazing, but they've been hyping that picture for a couple of weeks, and it looks exactly like what everyone was guessing it would look like, but blurry.

In 1916, people were still dancing to player pianos, 1 in 10 children died before their first birthday, and the Model T was a luxuriously inventive dream.

Einstein predicted black holes barely 25 years after the rest of humanity figured out how to make moving pictures.

He also wrote the song black hole sun, the parchment rediscovered by a Seattle bargain basement also-ran band called the sound garden.

Underwhelmed by that news or just overwhelmed by the rest of the news? Because I feel you on the second one.

I've been staring at the photo and daydreaming. Knowing that we won't know much more about them and what is out there in general during my lifetime depresses the fuck out of me. But I'm in awe.

Also, you're dumb, B.

Is ‘hole’ a misnomer?

Aren’t they just super dense objects as with a sun having a massive gravitational pull getting more and more dense as they pull more everything in?

Basically universe cancer

The ‘hole’ aspect always confused me

I thought you could come out the other side though? Theoretically.
