I don't listen to that enough. I say it's my favorite of theirs but I couldn't name any of the songs on it.

I guess they're okay. Jar is good. Dirt is good. That unplugged album was okay. I never find myself wanting to listen to them anymore, though.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

For me, AIC was always more of a 'singles' band. I like a handful of their songs over their career. I liked putting some of their stuff on mixes and whatnot. But they were never a great 'album' band.

I assume Kate McKinnon prefers the unplugged album.

I learned a long time ago never to assume anything about Kate McKinnon, friend.

The only one i dont listen to is Facelift...but yeah, i can see Dirt as being dated too. Still a great one. From Sap to Self Titled, i just love it.
Both of the new lineup album's are pretty good too.
