But there is no reason to remove the Haitian refugees. They have been here, part of our society for long enough to belong here, especially given whose fault it is tha Haiti is in its current situation.

This is not a person who should have ever been president, so it's just not shocking anymore that he cannot filter. And frankly, it's exhausting trying to stay pissed at someone who is incapable of leading and watching them fail over and over again. it's time to get on with life.

The biggest flaw with their stupid justification is that "Why should we let all these gypsies move into our country to escape the Nazis" wasn't a question that was asked based on people's hatred for Nazi Germany, but on their hatred of gypsies. He's not complaining about the countries, but rather denigrating them as a way of expressing his distain for the people within.

These same people would lose their mind if the shoe was on the other foot and it was the leader of another country bad mouthing the US. Or even a football player kneeling during the national anthem.

This is a pretty stupid argument for condoning a nasty comment. most especially when it's a comment made by the guy who's supposed to be the representative for the whole of the United States.

also, considering that the U.S. was built by people who came here from shithole countries when they immigrated here, including the countries my relatives came from, it's an argument of no merit. The hardest working and most eager people to contribute and sacrifice for the good and advancement of their families and as a result, the country, are the ones who suffered under the hardships of being born in these so called shithole countries, and have an acute awareness of being fortunate enough to be here instead.

Im getting really tired of this whole system of rationalization trump supporters have going on. It tries to make the basest and most vile behavior we exhibit into the commonplace and therefore perfectly acceptable.
