I watched parts of this again this morning as I got ready for work. I really loved the street scenes with Arya. They felt perfectly claustrophobic, and I felt tense watching them again, even though I knew how it all ended.

I like the juxtaposition of Jamie having killed Aerys to stop the burning of KL vs. what Cersei did and the results of that choice.

So are we guessing that Dany beheads Jon, Arya kills Dany, and Tyrion sits on the Iron Throne with Sansa's support?

Jon will kill Dany. Dany will try to kill Tyrion but Bronn will save him.

Plenty of possible "X kills Dany" scenarios (don't discount the Onion Knight), but, uh, I really haven't heard anyone start to discuss what the hell you do with Drogon at that point. Someone up above (ruddo?) made the nuclear war comparison, and I think that was all over the episode, and you don't just get to put that genie back in the bottle.

They did show wildfire burning in many scenes last night, so maybe there's still some leftover that didn't ignite. If Drogon somehow ingests some, that might do it. On the other hand, maybe Drogon survives...

There are tales in the books (mostly the encyclopedic, main-series-adjacent texts) of riderless dragons living on their own. Drogon might burn some people in a fit of rage after Dany's death and then retire to Dragonstone, raiding the mainland when he's hungry and becoming sort of a sad reminder of Dany's reign of terror.

But, I don't trust the show to do something like that though.

I would really not be surprised if it's Grey Worm beheading Jon as the final catalyst for Arya to kill Dany. The parallel to Ned's death would be tasty.
