Thought you might:)

I know you probably won’t but it takes a couple of viewings to really land. And get shock proof from the relentless breakneck of it all.

It is indeed breakneck as fuck. Once I gave myself over to that, it became an asset in a ludicrous way. Definitely an element of post-cinema style to it, the only real comparison to which so far is the race scene in Ready Player One.

I saw it twice, it felt more relentless the first time, but both times were full of entertainment.

Lol I fucking knew he'd love this spastic bullshit specifically for it's spasticity. I think I understand his aesthetic now.

I hated it in the first 20 minutes or so but then I started laughing at how fucking dumb everything was and before I knew it I was having a blast. The whole thing reeked of, “Boy, we really made a mess of this, huh? Fuck it, were not even gonna try anymore. We’re not gonna bother establishing or explaining fucking ANYTHING, who gives a shit?” That begins to feel liberating through its sheer idiocy.

I saw something that made me feel like that recently but I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

I think the moment the movie won me over is when they explained Palpatine being alive by simply saying, “Palpatine came back somehow.” I mean, that is almost trolling levels of not giving a fuck. How can you do anything but laugh your ass off at something that stupid?
