Obviously Montero shouldnt have done/said that, buuuut, the Cubs do have some guys that are comically bad at holding runners on.

Yeah, but Montero is just as bad at throwing guys out as Cubs pitchers are at holding guys on, so he has no credibility on the issue.

Montero's been whining about others and how they're keeping him down for awhile. This was just the final straw. He'll, the idiot went on about Joe Maddon didn't play him enough ... at the Cubs World Series rally in Grant Park. Good riddance.

Well, after I accused him of cherry picking stats from the last month, he came back and said "well actually asshole I said all along that he was hitting good all year and was unlucky the first few months" and then he blocked me. I was going to respond by saying "so the stats only matter when they suit your narrative?"

Weird how holding runners isn't much of an issue for those pitchers when Contreras is catching.
