My TV got a firmware update to support the latest and greatest two weeks ago. Great timing.

I can attest that Demon's Souls looks stunning on a 4K 75incher moving at 60fps. Ya'll weren't kidding though, this shit is hard for us casual gamer types. I do have the itch to play again though so that's a good sign...

Astro's Playroom is also incredibly charming. A nice little 'free' gem. I haven't even fired up Miles Morales yet.

What sucks though is between Miles, the remastered Spider Man, Souls and Astro's my SSD is approaching 50% full. That's fucking ridiculous.

I don’t mind it. Just delete games when you need more room and reinstall them when you revisit them. No biggie.

I rarely play more than 2-3 games at one time, but it is kind of annoying. Probably a cost/size scenario for the SSD.

Yep fine with me. And people will have the option to upgrade later on. I prefer that over paying for it in the beginning.

On truck for delivery. Whew. Taking off work in a few hours and hoping it arrives around the time I get home. Fingers crossed for a successful delivery. What a journey.

The storage/SSD size is mainly a 'me' issue since I take so long to complete games and mass a ridiculously large back log. I've no doubt the size the SSD they used was 100% aligned to keeping unit costs down. The thing is amazing though, load outs for PS5 games are basically non-existent now

Got it! Demons Souls is amazing. Performance mode. Never going back after tasting 60 FPS. About to try Spider Mans.

Other than the smooth 60 fps and some slightly upgraded visuals, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is clearly a last gen title.

Still enjoying it so far. The intro section is very long. I'm probably 3 hours in and have yet to see the Title screen.

Thanks! It was scary, though. The cardboard box it all came in was loose and ajar, and one of the games was just kinda half hanging out the top. I was so relieved to see it was all there and my UPS nightmare was over. Also, the delivery driver didn't even attempt to get a signature even though it was signature required. I'm never using UPS again if I can help it.

And with my headphones cranked up holy shit. I just don't know what to do but experiment and die. I love it.

I finally found then beat that first boss. Easier than expected. So much fun.
