Ugh. What a jive turkey.BurtReynolds wrote:Which one is Mickey?
I don't necessarily agree or disagree with what this guy was saying, but I do think people should watch a video like this before going off on how our "freedoms" are being taken from us. Lots of people focused on cancel culture, etc... but that video does look like it's taking place in a free country. The last couple of months have been good for "freedom" in my opinion. Perspectives held by marginalized groups have entered the mainstream. There's lots of cynicism out there but I think the next 10-20 years are going to be pretty remarkable, in a good way.BurtReynolds wrote:Which one is Mickey?

out thereon this board filled with aging white men with primarily middle class incomes, but I think the next 10-20 years are going to be pretty remarkable, in a good way.
Do you think the cops in that video are going to think freedom to rant at them is remarkable? I wonder if that jive turkey is actually just making the lives of Black Americans worse off by his actions. Respect goes a long way. That fella’s rant is lean on civil discourse and rich on histrionics.Rob wrote:I don't necessarily agree or disagree with what this guy was saying, but I do think people should watch a video like this before going off on how our "freedoms" are being taken from us. How do you know they aren't already doing that?Rob wrote:They can apply to be a better cop.
