If you watch season one of Ewok tales and then watch the two movies Caravan of courage and the battle for Endor, you can clearly infer our rebel friends are in the background.
Somewhere.
You have to watch Battle for Endor first though. While not a prequel narratively, it is actually a prequel chronologically speaking.

I recommend rewatching Mando season 2 episode 5 again. It’s where he helps Ahsoka with Morgan Elsbeth

Hera and Chopper fought at the Battle of Endor. Not sure about Zeb or Sabine, etc. This is canon confirmed, btw. I'm not making this up.

Obviously we don't know for sure yet. But I think the Inquisitorious is disbanded by A New Hope.

My point: I love fan service. Im not the one to be discussing such a topic because regardless of quality over the past 8 years, i've found enjoyment in all of it in some form or another.
