Could be, but I'm doubtful.

Hatfield wrote:With the Fall tour planned and looking like it might be over 2 months (longer than usual), what if they are planning on coming out of these sessions with a finished album? What if we have something by September?!?!

They have two weeks now, until they are going to SA for a couple of shows. After that they have another three weeks to finish untill Soundgarden gets back on the road.
But this is a better guess:
Untill the SA shows: recording
April: one more month off.
May: Soundgarden back on the road (also RNDM)
June: Month to finish the record*
July: Wrigley Field....also mixing the record
Aug: mastering
Sept-Okt: More US dates with X supporting. New record out.
*= or if finished in march/april...mxing. Or option 2: Soundgarden EU tour that delays this proces (only if recording sessions are unfinished)

We will get 3 more The Fixers and 5 more Oles before we get another Parting Ways.
I REALLY hope I'm wrong here, guys.

No. I'm just desperate for new music from Stoney G and the Pearl Jams

I don't live very far from B. I don't want to have to take a ride up to Raleigh, so this better not be fake, B.

I didn't think about that. I'm in Durham! B let's meet up on 147, exit 14, at 6:00 tonight.

3,2,1 - Heavy, crunchy number brought in by Jeff. Very unpolished, reminiscent of the Crapshoot Rapture demo. Jeff is singing on this recording (though I'm sure Ed will on the record) but mostly mumbles what sound like placeholder lyrics. The phrase "cold concession" is repeated in the chorus.
BELIEVED IN - Sounds like a Riot Act era mid-tempo song relying heavily on the acoustic guitar. Uplifting lyrics reminiscent of I Am Mine or Down, but more overtly political. Slows down at the end with just a pretty riff on an acoustic guitar.
MERCURY - Sounds very much like a Backspacer cast off. Starts with Matt pounding away for a few seconds before Mike comes soaring in. Song never lets up, has a nice long solo that sounds a lot like the bridge in Supersonic.
THE GIFT - Matt penned this one and sings on the recording. Midtempo number that reminds me a lot of Last Soldier but with Matt's signature style that's reminiscent of In The Moonlight or The Fixer.
JUMBLED - I'm told Stone wrote this one but there are no vocals recorded. Very pretty number, similar to Parachutes but has a 3/4 beat.
ALFORD PLEAS - Another one that's so far instrumental. One of the two songs here that's very trippy sounding. Loose, melodic palm muted guitar with slightly abrasive, crunchy drumming going on. When Ed puts lyrics to this I can imagine it soaring like Unthought Known. Instant classic.
TRANSIENCE - The other song that I would describe as trippy, but with the drums taking more of a complentary role than compared to Alford Pleas. Hard to tell what Ed is singing but mentions going "out of body" a few times. It has the feel of Inside Job but the intropection of an In Hiding. It also sounds a bit similar to Mercury, like they built two separate songs off of the same idea
I'm told that 3,2,1, The Gift, Alford Pleas, and Jumbled were recorded in a session without Vedder, while the others were recorded more recently with him.
Cool to read...trippy gets me excited...
but somehow I have a feeling that TSIS is setting up for another april fools prank....
I read 'trippy' and remember what they said about Inside Job. I'm not getting excited yet. All of these descriptions could describe something crap.

Guys, these Freese rumors are exactly the type of unofficial rumors that have no place in this, the OFFICIAL Rumors thread!

I think this is from whoever has these demos.
3,2,1: Comatose is one of my all time favorites, so I'm excited for this. If songs are gonna sound like other songs that's a good one. That cold concession thing was from the S/T rumors, right? Maybe this is an older song?
BELIEVED IN: I'm glad there is a pretty riff, but eddie tends to be really hit or miss with his political stuff. Surprising to have an uplifting song right now. Are there any songs that end with an acoustic outro like that?
MERCURY - I don't mind backspacer outtakes, and the solo is the best part of supersonic. This sounds exciting.
THE GIFT: Matt is hit or miss for me. I have a hard time grafting last soldier onto the fixer or in the moonlight in my mind. Not sure about this.
JUMBLED: Well, parachutes is a lovely song.
ALFORD PLEAS -what does trippy unthought known mean?
TRANSIENCE: I don't like the inside job comparison at first, but then I remembered that my issue is mostly lyrical. I'm intrigued about the mercury comparison.
This is getting me excited.

There's only one way to confirm this. We need someone to ask Glen Hansard.
