According to last.fm, Pearl Jam was my 21st most listened-to artist over the last year or so. I find that surprising since I feel like I never really listen to them anymore. Must be all the tournaments

Probably the wrong thread, but...

I put PJ on iTunes shuffle today and I'm getting a lot of 2005 and later live cuts. Ed's voice is just plain weak compared to the 2000 and earlier cuts. It's really not all that enjoyable to listen to unless you are there at the show.

I know everyone has been saying this for a while now. And I've generally agreed. But it really hit me today.

But you'd have a hard time convincing me that paying money for a LB era boot is a good decision.

It really depends on the show. He sounds ok to fine on several bootlegs, but is way more hit or miss.

For whatever reason, I just read that during Ben Folds shows, the audience throws paper airplanes to the stage with song requests during the encore.
