The thinking is it will be at celebration next year but we might get a title and a teaser before then? Possibly around Halloween or Christmas if they follow the previous schedule

We know that’s not happening. A jon favreau tv series is in production as are Rians trilogy and the GOT lads trilogy and a new animated series.

I feel like they made this trilogy 30 years later (or whatever it is) just so they could bring back Lando, and the age of the actor would be appropriate.

Kind of like the time jump in the second Independence Day

Lando gets introduced because they need someone to take over the Han Solo role of they can't convince Harrison to return. Now Lando gets dropped back in because they need someone to take over the Leia role because Carrie is gone.

Poor Lando. Always a contingency plan.

So it seems like everyone in this thread is some version of a Star Wars fan at some point or of some film. I am curious to get your takes on what you would like to see happen in IX. I guess mainly focusing on: Rey, Leia, Lando, Poe, Kylo, Hux, Finn. What would be a fitting story because Last Jedi left me not very interested, but I hope to be. How do you want it all to end?

I want the final scene to be a pan out, as the characters start to look less and less real and we see that this whole saga has been in the minds of a group of friends playing with their Star Wars toys and pretty much all that has happened means nothing...
(I know the toys came after the movie, but this would be my ideal)

The perfect ending would be someone pressing a red button and BUUUUM
