From what we've seen, it seems increasingly difficult to see any way in which Trump is not a prime target for an obstruction charge. I don't know if Mueller will necessarily press this point; I think it's possible. What's less possible is that there would be any movement towards removal or impeachment. Mueller could find Trump is a war criminal, but nothing would ever happen on the legislative end unless the Congress turns blue.

I'd like to think this is true... but I'm not convinced he did anything illegal, just despicable, which is kind of his thing anyway. As for the second part, if there was concrete evidence that Trump aided Russia, not just Russia acted to get Trump elected or that Russia has dirt on him or fam, I think the red team would turn.

There’s not a single version of this story where an entire political party behaves in such a desperately aggressive way towards the American justice system, and intentionally takes these career-ruining shots on the chin in the name of disruption, but also there’s nothing to find.

Money laundering seems to be the group festivity of the day, but proving that seems like a task and a half. If Gates is turning witness, as has been implied, that might make a world of difference.

A question I'm having trouble understanding; if there is some kind of conspiracy at the FBI that could involve Comey, where the fix is in to deny Trump the election, why in God's name does Comey announce he's reopening the Clinton investigation a week before the election? I mean, I understand any spin on this would be BS, but I'm curious as to what that spin could possibly be.

The FBI conspiracy was pro-Trump.
