Jared Leto as Skeletor is a funny choice, I wish we saw more of him

I'm still laughing at how some people are like "OH NO the He-Man film is woke and using pronouns, they have to ruin everything"

If anything the inclusion of pronouns on his name plaque at his boring Human Resources job while he is being talked down to by his boss seems like a bit of satire on performative corporate wokeness

Also it's "He" man. He has a pronoun in his name!

Yeah it seemed like part of the dreary corporate culture nightmare we have been sucked into, and the rest of the movie is the escape from that.

I’m convinced they paid him to use his name but it really isn’t him. Kind of like the mandalorian

Leto is box office poison at this point, so I hope they didn't pay too much.

How the fuck does Avatar get nominated for Best Costumes? It's a cartoon full of half naked smurfs.

I hate when they have to like go to modern day USA! in these things. The whole thing can and should work on Eternia. This doesn't feel like a difficult thing to fuck up.

I don't know. Maybe it'll be good.

I'm with you 100%. Everything up to when he's turns in to He-Man looks like a slog. You can just hear the story group saying "well he needs a arc so....let's start out on Earth and he's super goofy but later he becomes He-Man!". Why not just start mid action on Eternia; he's He-Man, adventure ensues.

I was never into He-Man at all, but call me when they make a Thundercats movie.

The 80s movie was the same thing! 90% is on Earth. Lame

I would take any number of cartoon live action remakes from my youth but they'll be bad so why bother. Like everything else it would be made by people that are embarrassed by the source material and all the characters will talk like Buffy cause that's the only old geek show the current crop of writers have watched.

I had completely forgotten about that Drago He-Man atrocity
I don't think we're the target demographic for this new one, but we'll watch it anyway.

Specially if you ever owned one of these:
Spoiler: show
