He said he didn't have it all night. Knew he played a bad game but thought there were positives to take from it. Kind of a reality check for the team.

Man, LeBron was shockingly bad. More than being bad it was that he just didn't do anything, really.

You guys try guarding Jerebko and see if you have anything left for the offensive end.

Some of those out of timeout plays by Stevens were sublime.

He needed to drive into the lane and get to the line. After every Marcus Smart prayer that went down I waited for it. Instead, he just jogged the ball across half court and immediately looked to pass.

Lebron was determined to get to the rim in Game 1 and now has a brain fart on getting to the rim in Game 3. Mental lapses like that, along with blowing 20-point leads, how do you square that away? Is he legit bored? Does he lack focus at times? No way the Celts should be down only 2-1 at this point.

The only thing I can come up with is that LeBron shot 67% from the line this season and is self conscious about it. That same issue didn't stop Tristan Thompson from playing like a man though.

I cringe any time Spurs fans complain of rough play. We dabbled in goon ball for several years and Bowen's close-outs were notorious.

Suck it up and move on to next season.

wow i didn't realize his ft % was that low

LeBron clearly had no intention of going to the basket or doing much of anything. He basically passed as soon as the ball hit his hands most of the night, and even when he didn't pass he didn't really attempt to do anything. He didn't drive, he didn't seem to engage in any meaningful way, and didn't do anything except take long jumpers.

I don't have an explanation for it. Sick? Injured? Worried that the team was getting complacent so he decided to sabotage this game? None of these are any good.

But games 1 and 2 all he did was drive. And his FTs haven't been that bad in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I know that Haberstroh article came out and claims he has the yips, but I don't think 67% qualifies as the yips, and I don't see why this would become an issue now after he's been better at FTs in the second and third rounds.
