We started this last night, just the first episode. Good not great. I know wease said it gets better and that seems to be a theme with Apple shows so we’ll give it a couple more…
At least watch thru the third episode. If you’re not hooked after that one, fine. We’ll all know you’re a heartless, inhuman monster, but fine.
Alright, so I was struggling a bit through the first two episodes. The dialogue felt hokey, the romantic relationship accelerated at an unbelievable speed, and I was having a tough time believing that this all really happened...
Spoiler: show
Once the guy got hit by the bus, I googled the show to see how much was based on fact, only to learn it's based on a novel.
Stupid trag!

The last 10 minutes of E2 were compelling enough that I'm looking forward to watching E3.
You should know better than to doubt me.

Watched the finale last night. A very nice ending.

I don’t know if the book ends the same way, but Elizabeth’s reading that page from GREAT EXPECTATIONS was absolutely perfect.
I’ll miss this show.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Trying to get back into Vikings. Watched the first season some 10 years back and stopped.

I don't know, guys. Seems pretty average.

Going back thru Mad Men at a leisurely pace. Season five ranges from painfully cringey to some of the best moments of the show, but the majority of it leans more toward the former. Probably my least favorite season overall. Luckily I’m into season six now.

It's nothing special. The soap opera bullshit with Ragnar and his two baby mommas at the start of season 2 was wack.
