the messaging could be stronger. takes a lot to combat lack of common sense and selfishness.
People are so eager to point the finger and blame. It's not helpful.spike wrote:the messaging could be stronger. takes a lot to combat lack of common sense and selfishness.
Weren't you at a record store last week thirsting around for that Painted Shield record?B wrote:I mean, you're right, every state, county, city, and neighborhood have their own rules.surfndestroy wrote:There's lots to be confused about. If business activity X is deemed safe and legal, why isn't business activity Y that seems to have the same risk profile? Are masks required outside? Are socially distanced get togethers safe when outdoors? When indoors?Strat wrote:I’m not sure what people are confused about. It’s not the messaging. It’s people 1) not caring and 2) being burnt out on it.

This is the question that drives me bonkers. NO business is safe. Some are safer than others. Some are more essential than others. I've seen people ask why grocery stores can be open but record stores can't. Because you won't starve to death in the absence of records, asshole.

I'm sure if you just virtue signal to them as hard as you possibly can they will start to see things your way.spike wrote:easy to do to the snowflakes who can't handle a bit of fabric over their mouthverb_to_trust wrote:People are so eager to point the finger and blame. Virtue signalling is just a term used by people who can't imagine doing something good for others without some sort of reward.verb_to_trust wrote:I'm sure if you just virtue signal to them as hard as you possibly can they will start to see things your way.spike wrote:easy to do to the snowflakes who can't handle a bit of fabric over their mouthverb_to_trust wrote:People are so eager to point the finger and blame. You don't talk to enough conservatives. All I hear from my family/friends who voted for Trump is complaints about the changing messages (never Trump's fault). They WANT to find reasons to not follow the guidelines and then refuse to do so. Two of my cousins were in the hospital and now my brother-in-law is teetering on hospitalization. I'm just thankful my parents (80 and 78) haven't gotten infected.Strat wrote:I’m not sure what people are confused about.
