Was finally able to get back out for a 7 miler. Some discomfort early but mostly fine. I could have gone a few more miles but started to tighten up again and didn't want to risk pushing it.

Booked my first ever sports massage for Thursday afternoon. Hoping that helps with this leg issues.

I haven't done this in a decade but I never go that short of a distance but honestly kudos that's unreal. How old are you?

Yeah I'm gonna have to rest a week or so unfortunately. I'm motivated but the body won't endure.

The sports massage was really great. Super helpful and informative.

Today I got out for 9 miles. Probably would have kept going except the heat was insane. Also, I'm not trying to tweak anything at this point. No need to push it.

Ran : 3.5
Biked: 10
Walked: 1.2

Fuck it's hot

Went out for the first time in a long time this evening. 3.5 minute jags cut with 30-90 second walking jags. Total of less than two miles, gonna ease back in slow and try not to injure myself. The goal is simply to get my lungs and heart in shape so I can be more comfortable on the bicycle

Get it son.

Went with my co-worker today and it was more of a walk/run than run/walk. Just trying to get miles in, but do want to "train" for a charity 5k in October.

I do want to improve my time, and having to take walk breaks and run slowly nags at me, but it always feels good just to have done something. I am making small improvements. My heart rate hit 169 a couple times yesterday. Just gotta be patient and try to keep at it. I'm also somewhat training for a 5k.
