Mema Wease update:
She was taken off ventilator this morning and is breathing on her own with no issues. She been in and out of it all day. Keeps groaning like she’s hurting but then will say she’s not. Has been on Percocet and morphine. She did finally admit her chest was hurting. And when we tell her why, she’s in shock that they did the surgery. Every time. It’s actually pretty funny that we’ve told her 4-5 times that she’s had open heart surgery and it’s totally new information for her every time. Waiting for the doc to come in and remove the balloon pump from her heart. This is the real test. Making sure her heart is gonna pump on its own.

This whole story of Momma Wease gives me the heebie jeebies. My mum is on a waiting list for a stent to be put in (probably a few months away) and I'm the one that will be taking her to and staying with her at the hospital while my sister makes sure dad's alright at home.
Glad that she's on the other side of this Wease - scary stuff

Just got back home from hospital. They got the balloon pump out and now she has to remain supine for about 6 more hours. Then they can get her up and move her around. Don’t know if they will but they can. She’s still pretty out of it but is ready to stop laying on her back. She’s been like that since 7:00 yesterday morning. Managed to get a small bit of work done today, but I have work I cant get out of tomorrow. So I’ll do that then head back to hospital after I get back in town. She seems to be out of the closest woods, but there are still a lot of trees left. They told us today she’ll more than likely be in ICU until Monday so we’ve got a few days left at least.

If you knew my mom you would see that this is much, MUCH funnier than you intended it to be.
