I hope so, I'm guessing it was primarily made by a "B-team". What's the winning percentage of these open-world, multiplayer shooters these days? Seems like most aren't very good.

They're awful, grindy bores. I'm guessing the Bethesda made them make this.

Haven’t tried Redfall yet, but I preloaded it in Game Pass.
Someone posted a pic of chimneys in the game to Reddit:

How dare they?!
Does something like that detract from the game in any way?

This "controversy" reminds me of the puddles in Spiderman. How much time will be spent on residential rooftops anyway?

Well that's like a tiny insignificant part of the controversy. The game is unplayable, unfinished garbage. This is just a funny example of how lazy it is.

Until you can get stupid children to stop preordering games the problem isn't going anywhere.

I've never heard that preorders impact releasing unfinished games. Isn't the release date the decision of the publisher?

Good point, but as long as bad games continue to sell what's the incentive to release good ones?

They're rebooting Mortal Kombat again? They just rebooted it. I know because I helped make it.
Oh wait I guess that was like 12 years ago now. I'm old.

Street Fighter 6 and Diablo 4 sound like they're also pretty damn good. 2023 is shaping up to be a legendary year so far.

Going to check out the Final Fantasy XVI demo this week. More demos with saves that will cross over to the main game, please!

I watched the preview for the new one the other day. I can’t get over how like you’re cracking their skulls open and stuff during the fight but then there are no wounds and they’re just standing and fighting all normally still. It would be cool if like you can cut their arm off during battle and their arm was actually missing or you crack their head open and they act all woozy and stuff.
At least in the originals when you tore their head off or ripped their heart out they were supposedly dead.

This new one also has a "beat 'em up" mode ala TMNT, Final Fight, Streets of Rage, etc. How is that mode?

I'm not a huge fighting game fan, but I'm intrigued by SFVI. Like Trag, I did not enjoy the limited time I spent with V.

Sounds like Cyberpunk might actually be good soon?
