Too many Jedi. That's the problem. Its too easy. Its like the X-Men it was fun where there were only a few. It should be super rare and special. At their height there should have been like 12 Jedi. Like the Knights of the Roundtable. Not a bureaucracy. How boring George.

That was kind of George’s point.

I'm not even gonna try to understand this, but I do hope that Andor S2 keeps the Jedi/Force stuff in the background.

I think they will. They did for Rogue One for the most part, and this show is a direct result of that movie, and leads up to Rogue One. Add in Saw being in this upcoming season, and I think it is clear they are focusing on the rebellion not the jedi. I'm excited. I also can't wait to watch Rogue One again, directly after the finale of season 2.

Of course they will! It's not even a question.

The Force has a prominent part in Rogue One: "I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me"

I wouldn't call one character's belief the Force prominent.

I think that was about the power in maintaining belief in something bigger than yourself even when everyone around you dismisses you for it. Similar to the Karis Nemik character in Andor S1 or the Shepard character in Firefly.

Yeah I read his post more as no more Jedi, there's enough already. When Rogue One was happening, there weren't many Jedi out in the open fighting. Even Kenobi was in hiding at this point. Kanaan is dead by then and Ezra is lost in another galaxy.

The reason the Jedi fell, amongst others, is because the Order became a bureaucratic, soulless institution that lost sight of what they should’ve been doing. Jar Jar farting around unfortunately undercuts some of the more solid plot points and themes George was trying to get across in the prequels.

Just finished "One Way Out." So excellent.

I can't wait for season 2 but am already dreading its eventual end. I need more of this stuff.

I hadn't recalled how abruptly the last episode ends -- what a tease!

Things I’d love to see in season 2:
1. Mothma and Palpatine conversing. Or any brief Palpy scene.
2. Post-Rogue One fallout, including Bail going “Oh shi—“ on Alderaan
3. Post-ROTJ coda

Whatever happens, I trust Gilroy and his instincts.

Part of me wishes that this is Bail’s last day before retirement.

They’ve already said the final episode will end right where Rogue One starts
