Yeah, given he's already come back to life, survived the whole Palpatine ordeal, I think this might be the end for Maul.durdencommatyler wrote:It's is gonna be way better this way. Though I'd now put Maul's odds of surviving below 20%.
I think so, too. Once they announced this was happening, I was ready for him to go. But I just had this nagging feeling Fioli & Co would try to milk more out of him and keep him alive. Seems unlikely after what dime posted. And I'm totally happy about it. I'm ready for Maul to go. And I LOVE that he'll probably go at the hands of Obi-Wan. It's like retconning your initial retcon and correcting it all by bringing it back to the beginning.E.H. Obi wan battles maul. Maul falls in saarlaac pit. End of maul.
Then next season we find out maul and boba fett teamed up and cut their way out of the saarlaacs belly and wehey!!! A whole new series is born
It's all happening so fast. I was really expecting Maul and Ezra to interact more. I was going to predict a sort of Maul wins Ezra over, then Obi-Wan kills Maul, which makes Ezra angry and doubt his Jedi training which ultimately turns him, sort of thing. But there just hasn't been any development of anything like that. So who knows.E.H. Like maybe somehow kill off Kanaan and then Maul take over training the boy. But who knows what they have planned for the two remaining (that we know of) Jedi not named Luke or Obi-wan.

I think it's most fitting if Vader kills Kanan. If he's gotta go out, I hope that's how. I hope he saves some lives by taking on Vader before ultimately biting it.dimejinky99 wrote:E.H. The Star Wars locations book has a spread about yodas house on dagobah. It mentions Yoda has been studying ancient Jedi texts and communicating with Obi Wan 'and other exiles' during his time there.
These books ARE definitely canon so there's breadcrumbs there for Ahsoka and Ezra. Kanan? I reckon he's a goner. But at who's hand?

I would tend to agree. But it's true that we don't know. So she COULD be dead. I just think it's so unlikely that it isn't even worth thinking about.dimejinky99 wrote:E.H. Ruddock wrote:But we don't know for sure that Ahsoka is still alive, right?
She's not dead. Filoni loves her too much. And she's faaaaaaaar too popular in the fan base for such a vague non ending.
