That's a good question....I think I'd be fine with leaving those. There aren't too many, and they happen late in the season.
If I remember correctly from what I read, the Saturday games were axed because it was just too difficult to get people to watch games during the holidays when they're usually at parties with friends and family. The current thinking is that Thursday games are going to provide better ratings. If they're right, then as much as many of us dislike those games, they aren't going away.

Personally, I'm also not a huge fan of the primetime Thanksgiving game, because I'm always doing family stuff then too. Though it is nice to get AFC teams on there more often, especially the AFC North who, in the current cycle, would be completely shut out of Thanksgiving otherwise.
A lot of people don't work on Black Friday--I wonder if the NFL would ever try to play a day game then. (They can't do it at night due to the antitrust exemption agreement.)

I may be one of the only people who likes Thursday Night games. Not necessarily some of the weak matchups, but I like watching football regardless.

So the transitive property has eliminated the NFL from the playoffs?

Brian Urlacher just did a small skit on the pregame show where he assigned a couple NFL players to PJ songs. Reggie Bush was RVM and Clay Matthews was [Don't Call Me] Daughter.

That seems too harsh. Definitely a fine, though, and I could be fine with a one-game suspension, as well.
