How is Ukraine supposed to employ all these new tanks and artillery to say relieve Mariupol over large expanses of open ground when they have only one additional S-300 battery?

Additional Migs only make sense if we send AWACS into Ukrainian territory. Seems like a slog regardless.

It’s terrifying that a nuclear device being detonated is conceivable.

After losing that flag ship it is thought Putin will be apoplectic and the several different ways they’ve reported it (all kinds of pathetic and hilarious) on Russian media it makes him unpredictable and it far more likely. Attacks on Kyiv resumed and more conscripts have been (forced) to deploy. On top of that issuing threats to the US and Sweden and Finland over their impending national membership.
Nuclear option is very much in play.

The fact that this has already gone 50+ days, makes me think this will get much worse (and larger) from here.
