Fontaines DC was enjoyable. Probably preferred the Vaccines album but both were quite good. I feel like it’s been a while since I listened to albums that felt breezy and as natural as these. I will get to the Wunderhorse album soon is my guess.psychobain wrote:That was meliebzz wrote:There was an album suggested here at the beginning of the year and I listened to it once and remember really liking it, but I spent this year, like last, mostly focused on the live albums and the new Pearl Jam and I didn’t pick it back up until today. I remembered it basically because I had been keeping a list of albums I enjoyed from this year and thought I should give it another listen. Once again, I was quite impressed. This was The Vaccines’ Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations.
Have u checked Fontaines DC and Wunderhorse?
Hmm, in theory this is right in my wheelhouse but I'm finding it a bit bland. It's like a tamer version of Kittens. I'd rather just listen to Kittens.Jorge wrote:I am enjoying the album War by Whores

Wunderhorse had a few moments that called back to almost Nirvana. It was a pretty cool album, and maybe a little less of an easy going listen than the other two, but still I enjoyed it quite a bit. All solid recommendations.psychobain wrote:thanks for the feedbackliebzz wrote:Fontaines DC was enjoyable. Probably preferred the Vaccines album but both were quite good.
