I hope they wait until the start of the show, and they open with Sometimes (no drums), and then Comes Then Goes, and then Soon Forget - keep it going as long as they can…then do some dramatic thing that’s not their typical style - and then the drummer comes out and they don’t introduce them and play the whole damn show, and it’s a whole thing trying to figure out who this mystery drummer is. And we debate this crap here for more months. That would be priceless.

I have a feeling that the band is about to go full circle and Dave Krusen will be playing with them. Half of the sets are his era anyway.

so krusen got into the HoF for PJ but Chad Channing didn't get in for Nirvana?

The RnRHoF is nothing if not inconsistent.

They inducted current Cure guitarist Reeves Gabrels as a member of the band, though he hadn't yet played on a Cure album, but didn't induct two previous members who had (Andy Anderson, Matthieu Hartley).

Klinghoffer was inducted as a member of RHCP despite being in the band for about five minutes at that point.

it was kind of wild watching Dave K playing Even Flow, I'm still trying to decide if I mean "wild" in a good way; if he was any more relaxed he'd have fallen off his stool, and whilst that's very easy to admire, I'm not sure how much I enjoy it

was definitely a flashback to a groove from a different era

krusen has some awesome dynamics due to that relaxed style, and no one can flam like that man.

He sounds good and looks cool
