an african american saying he "has" to be polite to a police officer to me is insane. you should have to be, you should be.

think about it, are you more likely to get out of a ticket by being nice or being a dick? thats just a ticket, if it escalates more pushing the cops buttons is only going to elevate his aggressiveness more.

im not saying roll over and show him your belly but id say in most cases (not the minnesota one) if you are cordial they will be cordial right back

i agree with both of these but thats not the reality.

if you knew you were at a higher risk based on decision A or a lower risk with decision B, which one would you take in any given situation?
