This is a goddamn masterpiece. I feel comfortable putting it up there with OK Computer and Kid A in the pantheon.

Jonny, ever restless, is in a brass-studded leather chair crouched over his home-made sound machine (little hammers hitting various objects) and its accompanying laptop, and Ed is listening to him in front of his long row of guitars. Jonny establishes a rhythm, part-calypso, part-reggae, with his yoghurt cartons, tubs, bells and mini-tambourine. “Sounds a bit like Marvin Gaye”, Ed comments."

Nah I love Burn the Witch as an opener. Those very first string notes coming out the gate are so good

Yeah, I'm not crazy about the album, but even I think you'd be crazy to move that from the opening spot.

The "stay" "leave" thing is interesting enough but couldn't you also read it as "stay" and "don't leave" ?

This album hasn't grabbed me like I hoped it would. Spectre would probably be my favorite tune had they chosen to include it. At this point, Decks Dark is still the one that appeals to me the most. Burn The Witch is not too far behind.
