what was the consensus on the "in their prime" discussion?

I think characters should be considered within the context of either the book or HBO series, but I'm not going to pitch a fit if someone wants to use a different criteria for choosing the winner of a fight.

I think King Baratheon wins this matchup as long as he isn't stumbling drunk.

I'm a big Asha fan, but I don't think she survives a Greatjon encounter for longer than a few minutes. Short range weapons and a guy fit to laugh even if she does plant her suckling babe between his ribs. One smack to the head with his fist or shield, let alone his sword, and she's a goner.

Is there a rule established here about armor?

Back to the last Syrio round... Could the guy not throw on some kind of protection if he wanted to?

I understand each person has their own specific weapon(s) that they are skilled with...but what about armor?

I got Khal Drogo in this thing and the knock on him is lack of armor. So fine, he puts on a little armor and then kicks everybody's ass.
