For a long time I prepared myself that PJ would (should?) call it quits when the band members started hitting age 50. Well that started about 5 years ago and goddammit, I am nowhere near ready.

If Springsteen, Petty, the Stones, etc., can keep doing it ... why can't Pearl Jam? As long as it doesn't become a super lame spectacle (like Aerosmith), they can continue being respectable and drawing crowds for 10 more years, can't they? Give me two more albums. Then I will officially be ready to let this all go. But I'm not ready yet.
