I also watched What We Do In The Shadows yesterday, which was a clever film. I usually don't watch comedies alone, so it was interesting sitting by myself and laughing at a film for once.

Was really looking forward to this, but I turned it off after 10 minutes.

I found it mediocre. Had some funny moments but nothing great overall.

I feel like just about everything in it worked, and that it wasn't bloated in any way (it was 86 minutes long, of course). But it doesn't climb into any echelon of "great comedies" for me or anything. Maybe the best bit they had was when they introduced Stuart to the group; I was a little disappointed out how he turned out, though. Oh, and Rhys Darby was amazing, as always.

"Hey, where's the real mayor, wha' happened? Somebody shot the mayor, but they did not shoot the deputy. But thank you, sincerely, Your Honor - which reminds me, I was at a swingers' party the other night and a fella said to me, 'I'd like to meet your wife.' I said, 'Your honor!'"

the martian...i liked it overall, but the one-liners got old after awhile and i thought they could have delved a little deeper into damon's struggles...the scenes on earth got a little distracting and sometimes felt too long at times too

i can't help but love matt damon though, and the rest of the cast was good sans wiig

Zoolander 2.

Well, i enjoyed it. Im not a fan of the first one, so this seemed a little chaotic and bizarre, but entertaining.

Spotlight.

It was ok. I hated Ruffalo´s performance, seemed so obvious, so over the top...i didnt see a character at all, i saw fuckin Ruffalo trying to act. As for the movie, it was what i expected, some cool moments, a good story. And thats it. Its not a best picture material at all.

Safe movie.

But, VG, a safe movie is perfect best picture material. "Safe" is synonymous with "Oscar."

yeah i know....you are right. Still i need to considerate the oscars as something better than that. But i agree with you.

With those terms, Spotlight is an amazing piece of work, when instead is just an average tv movie with a cool cast that barely acts.

I'm going to watch Legend tonight. It didn't get the best reviews, but I am a sucker for Tom Hardy.
