Not sure, how many dead infants would suffice your skepticism that it's all overblown?
More than would die in car accidents every year while traveling for holidays might be a start.
Thats the reason they make seat belts and car seats. I don't understand the problem here.

Child deaths are very very low, so I guess my reaction to that meme would be that the baby with covid would look pretty normal.

As of Dec 7 children were 0.00%-0.23% of all COVID-19 deaths, and 15 states reported zero child deaths.

Kind of seems like your meme is just pointless fear mongering stickbot
That picture doesn't say anything about kids dying from Covid.
Right. And I suppose you have some magical insight that these covid infected infants are going to grow up severely impacted?
In the US health care system, anything is possible. You should look up covid long termers btw.
No

There are precautions one can take for covid as well, to say nothing of the fact that children aren't at any great risk of being negatively affected in the first place, thus this argument that one shouldn't see family for the holidays because a baby might get sick is dumb in both cases. It's just emotionally manipulative, irrational drivel.

Speaking of manipulative, they are already attributing the Florida basketball player's incident to covid.

Isn’t it because he had tested positive recently. Granted it could be a irregular heart beat or something else and may be too early to jump to conclusions

I read something about Tiny Lister maybe having it but I didn't know if it was confirmed.

The whole team had it months ago.

Now everyone gets to pretend that the preseason SEC player of the year who obviously wants to be in the NBA wouldn't be training every single day anyway even if daddy NCAA cancelled the season to save lives.

Both will get it. Kind of important to keep the country running.

I agree with any feeling that says kicking those people who worked to exacerbate the situation to the front of the line is an injustice....but as a policy it does make sense that government leadership be prioritized.

It makes sense for a monarchy. They should all get in line and follow the same protocol as other citizens and show them that they are not above, better or more important than other citizens.

They are though. I can't mobilize the military in the event there is an emergency.

Fauci and his team made it clear early on that masks were ineffective. Clearly we need to do a better job washing our hands, and the administration should prioritize that public outreach message.

I guess it means science is rigid and cannot be changed or updated when new data is presented.
