I like it too, but it is a little gross. But that's fine.

No. I'm just absurdly busy and it's getting harder and harder to justify spending what free time and mental energy I have reading people's rote complaining about something I enjoy and care about.

I'm going to try and do one of those big review threads in July for either yield or lightning bolt. Probably the latter, since yield has the excellent write up that digester really should finish...

Been listening again after a long time; and its actually pretty good.
My only complaint is that awful Closer. I cant even listen to that song.

It's a mediocre song but it's a moving performance

I hate everything. From that awful piano, those afwul guirarguitar strings...eddie's voice, i dont even believe in his deliver.
And Where is pj? A classic pj mid tempo song is yellow moon...this one feels like a ed solo song produced horribly by brendan.

It goes feel like a solo song, but so does the end. That bothers me less than other people writing lyrics.

Future days was Mia's lullaby song for 18 months so I'm biased

Dont care about The End as well. I can see why you like it; you are emotionally attached to it. Thats cool.

The End just feels like somew words put together to rhyme! Future days is hardly any better but I do quite like Yellow Moon , Swallowed Whole, Pendulum, Sleeping, Getaway me Infallable. The album doesn't feel cohesive from start to finish, it's like the band just put out 12 separate songs that they can muster and released it as an album. Not sure if I'm making complete sense but that's how I feel about it. Overall it is better than their last few albums.
