I'm disgusted with the hours I invested watching this season. Pointless.
As a Heat fan this consoles me none seeing as the last labor agreement was all about preventing the Heat from keeping their big three even though they were surrounded by hot trash the first year.Monkey_Driven wrote:Remember team, the league wanted to smooth the cap spike but the players voted against it. So? I will hate whatever is in front of me at this point.Monkey_Driven wrote:Remember team, the league wanted to smooth the cap spike but the players voted against it. This is the sole reason Durant is on the Warriors.
That's fair. I would probably feel similarly if I watched the Bulls all season too.verb_to_trust wrote:So? I actually take comfort in knowing the bulls don't matter and won't matter for a very long time. What is the point of being a 'contender'. Maybe by the time the bulls luck into another Rose/thibs/Noah situation Silver will have fixed this shit. Billion dollar contracts for a shit product is unsustainable over the long term.Monkey_Driven wrote:That's fair. Nah, the product isn't shit. The NBA is like SNL casts. You're always drawn to the era in which you were the most impressionable. Tons of great players in the league right now. Max contracts and super teams are the problem.verb_to_trust wrote:I actually take comfort in knowing the bulls don't matter and won't matter for a very long time. Oh yeah, I forget this is the first time this has happened in the NBA.verb_to_trust wrote:Some guy like Damien Lillard getting stats on a team that doesn't matter and never will doesn't move the needle for me. Sorry.
Only one team had a chance this season. I guess when you are a bandwagon fan for the destined to be champs all the 'great' players in outpost cities are a cute sideshow.Monkey_Driven wrote:Oh yeah, I forget this is the first time this has happened in the NBA.verb_to_trust wrote:Some guy like Damien Lillard getting stats on a team that doesn't matter and never will doesn't move the needle for me.
