Finishing up “The Bear”: A+

Started “The Curse”: WTH did I try to watch. Some kind of cringe comedy with guys waving around their giant dicks? Does it get any better after episode one?

It stays like that.

The Curse is the best tv comedy of last year but it’s also not for everyone. Might be better maybe to catch a sitcom

It is a sitcom. Reminded me of those videos of the Big Bang theory with the laugh track removed, like somehow it got worse. Gonna try a second episode because I generally love comedy of the absurd and it appears they are trying to map casual social interactions into the absurd, but the first episode came across like it was written by the most unbearable hipster in the history of Williamsburg laughing at everyone for not giving the only allowable response to the most subtle modern social cue.

Discovered that there's a whole stretch of episodes from the third season of Seinfeld that I'd somehow never seen.

This is wild, as I was convinced I'd already watched the entire show multiple times. Maybe these episodes weren't broadcast in the Latin American reruns I grew up watching?

In any case, this is fucking great, I feel like I just unearthed a hidden treasure, I'm gonna watch em all this weekend

That’s when it really hits its stride, too.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I'm very jealous, that would be awesome.

"The Parking Space", "The Limo", "The Boyfriend", "The Library"...Season 3 has some bonafide Classics.

I still watch this show almost every day. It's always on during my lunch break. Today was the episode where Kramer wears skinny jeans. Lol! Oh Kramer

I’ve been working my way through the 1960s Batman TV series and thoroughly enjoying it. It’s so delightfully stupid. Plenty of chuckles per episode. Adam West just laying down a straight up comedy masterclass.

I absolutely love the show and movie. West playing it straight is really what sells it. And the pilot is actually quite serious. Watching the reruns in the 70s when I was a wee lad is probably why I’m such a big Batman fan still today.

Masters of the Air ended up being very solid.
Spoiler: show
The stalag stuff was my favorite part. Not sure I’ve seen that part of WWII dramatized before.
