We're running into a similar problem that we have with positivity rate. Do you use total tests administered as the denominator or total individuals tested?
i mean, i guess you have to go with total tests administered if the 2.8 million number is truly all doses distributed. otherwise the math doesn't work.
so right now, it's kinda wonky - no one is fully immunized. but once we're in stride, just divide the total tests administered by two to get an idea of how many individuals are/will soon be immunized.
Yes, by my understanding of the system, each second dose counts as a dose distributed and a dose administered.

One of the only good things Governor Abbott has done in the pandemic here in TX is loosened beer-to-go laws for bars and breweries. That genie is not going back in the bottle and it shouldn't.

Fear and uncertainty to be fair. The idea that putting a patient on a vent is the only suefire-ish way to prevent viral spread sounds like a bit of a facilities issue too.

I'm OK with the Presidential line of succession getting the vaccine for the continuity of Government, but Rubio and Graham can suck a dick. They're easily replaced by their states' Governors.

There are a slew of succession rules should Pres and/or VP die. They should all just get in line. The role is important not the role holder.

Idk, it's an insignificant amount of vaccines in the grand scheme and if it signals to skeptical people that it's okay to get the vaccine I'm good with it.
