I still want that 90's hip hop songs tournament I brought up like 3 years ago as a suggestion dammit.

I'd settle for Beasties.

I admit it’s the weakest in the bunch
That song sucks. Everything else about Jar Of Flies is the best thing AIC has ever done.

Totally agree with that song sucking total ass. To include in in an EP is almost unforgivable. Self titled is my favorite but Jar of Flies is right there.

It’s completely unforgivable. Jar of Flies is borderline perfect without it. And that’s coming from a guy who isn’t a die hard AIC fan by any definition. It’s this perfect set of mood, sound, performance, and recording, that completely encompasses an emotional, lyrical, and musical vibe, and then that gross turd stew is fucking glued on to the end and it just completely fucking sucks.

I'm really not a fan of heavy AIC at all, with Again being a lone standout.
Counterpoint: heavy AIC is (with a few rare exceptions) the only good AIC.

I’d take most of Facelift and all of Dirt over anything on Jar of Flies, which I don’t really enjoy at all.

For a second I thought the top few posts on this page were about the Christian rock band Jars of Clay.

I think you're underestimating the popularity of Jesus Freak.

I saw DC Talk in concert on the Jesus Freak tour with my youth group.

Newsboys were also popular at the time.

Michael W. Smith is the king of Christian music.

Activists and artists stacked high as the corporate towers

the pigfuckers passed a bill paving the way for Spotify and exports from Graceland, said to cost more than the last 3 hurricanes combined.

for the sake of popular music

when did Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith become more important than people's lives?

It wasn't "what mega tournament would you like to see next?" it was, "how can we profit?" ....
