Are Divinity and Baldur's Gate similar games? I thought Divinity was a traditional RPG and BG is an action RPG.

BG 1 and 2 are, but BG3 was made by Larian (makers of divinity) and it plays very similarly to DOS 2.

BG1 and 2 are CRPGs in the strictest sense. Diablo games are ARPGs, sometimes simply called "hack n slash".

I guess the main distinction is that BG3 is turn based, unlike BG 1 and 2.

BG3 is turn based? That's weird that they wouldn't make it real time like the others. (And yes, they aren't ARPGs.)

This year just doesn't stop coming. All of the hype around Baldur's Gate 3 makes me want to try it when it comes to PS5. Still have Starfield, Spider-Man, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Mortal Kombat I, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Alan Wake 2, and Super Mario RPG to come.

Shredder’s Revenge DLC at the end of the month.

Digging into their replies, it looks like they’re going to waive the requirement that it runs the same on both Series X and Series S—it had been widely reported that the holdup was that split screen wasn’t working on Series S for co-op.

I've read that the first two acts are far better than the third, mostly due to some polish issues. Larian has a habit of ironing these things out, so playing it a little delayed on console sounds like it could be the move anyway.
