sorry yeah, I could have been clearer; The 1975 and various other bands have been in the habit of releasing song / video bundles before releases recently, it just feels of the times

If I remember the stance was that they did not want the videos to drive the message instead of the song itself. That and they were raging against the mtv machine.

It was the reason their first two videos were purportedly shots of them playing live instead of concepts. Not sure about why they agreed to do it for Jeremy.
