Re: Recent Purchases
I used to have a couple pairs of local-produced ear buds, the type that are connected by a cord that sits behind your neck. Both have had battery issues and now are kinda useless. I need a new set of headphones of some sort for plane travel etc and was umming and aahing whether to go with a bluetooth over-ear type or in-ear buds (never had a set before). Did some review reading and decided to go with the Pixel Buds Pro, in the main because I already have (and love) a Pixel phone. Also because I could get them for AUD $179 when they are RRP AUD $299.
Just received them and gotta say the set up was simple as, the mid sized tips fit in my ear easy and comfy and the sound is pretty damn good for what I want (but I suspect they will stay cranked at "10").
All-in-all happy with these so far at least.

Re: Recent Purchases
I purchased a day at winter camp for my kids so we could have the whole day to ourselves for Mrs. Bam’s birthday. And I purchased a couples massage. Honestly I would prefer to just send her on a massage by herself and have a couple hours free but I think she’ll appreciate that I’m there with her. There are other things I’d prefer to spend $200 on than a massage for myself but you do what you gotta do.

Re: Recent Purchases
In slightly related news, I spat it with my wife at the shopping centre today, told her I was off and would catch her later, and promptly spent $100 on a 60 minute massage for myself. Having the phone on do not disturb for the 60 minutes was worth it alone.
