its hard to fathom just how shitty people can be. both men and women.

surprisingly enough i was accused of sexual harassment at my last job (not the reason i no longer work there, just despised the owner and vp and about 90% of the staff)

being the IT department the phone system also fell under my supervision. it was a medical/it staffing agency and each recruiter had to make 100 calls a day to meet their quota.

one girl would call disconnected numbers and the management team thought something was up because she was always well over her numbers.

they asked me to run the report and saw the same sets of numbers were called every day (like 50) and found them all to be disconnected.

a week later the VP calls me into her office and prefaces the conversation with, i know this is a bold faced lie and she is pissed at you because she got busted but we have to acknowledge the complaint.

i sat there and laughed and said to the VP if you said it was so and so, or so and so or even so and so i would take this more serious and watch my jokes/stories. but i would never in a million years even picture the complainer naked let alone do stuff to her while naked. she said i did this on facebook and i gladly opened up my IMs on my machine showing i kept the conversations brief and very matter of factly

i immediately left the office and unfriended everyone on facebook and explained why


but at the same time i do believe a lot if not most of these women have been made to feel like their jobs and careers depended upon agreeing to some guy in power using that power to get sex from them

Fuck me. I was still working on my updates (had an old torrent full of 64kbps stuff and was working on pulling the 128s from the website) and the pages and files were all deleted from the server in the last two minutes.

That is super fucked up. No matter how shitty the person is, erasing their art from history is a terrible reaction.
