Nassau 2003.
Has always been a killer show. Still my favorite of the 15 I've attended.

It perfectly encapsulates those early years pre Jack.
It's face meltingly good and has remained my desert island PJ disc for over twenty years.

Listening to this again today. I'm fairly sure this is my all-time favorite PJ boot. It's maybe not the all-time greatest show (it's up there) but the combination of sound and performance is really hard to beat. And, other than the brief "Crazy Mary" tease, there are no covers!
I love 1998 Pearl Jam.

I wanted to listen to a 2000 show I hadn't heard yet so I pulled this one out:
10/27/00 – Selland Arena: Fresno, CA
support act: Supergrass
set: Interstellar Overdrive/Corduroy, Breakerfall, Whipping, Last Exit, Hail Hail, Animal, Dissident, Nothing As It Seems, Untitled, MFC, Habit, I Got Shit, Daughter/(Another Brick In The Wall), Even Flow, State of Love and Trust, Black, Parting Ways
enc 1: Soon Forget, Better Man, Insignificance, Do The Evolution, Footsteps, Rearviewmirror
enc 2: Indifference, Rockin’ In The Free World
notes: After ‘Dissident,’ Ed addresses the crowd, how they’ve never played Fresno but they’ve passed through it going 65-70 mph. He also mentioned that he had gone to the doctor because he’d been sick, “so the singer’s on drugs tonight” and asked if anyone else was…there were cheers and then he said, “ah Fresno, I wouldn’t expect anything less of you.” After ‘MFC,’ Ed then apparently tells a joke about an Australian guy who got a tattoo on his ass of Yogi bear. He then intro’d Habit as “this is a song about looking into a dark hole and getting sucked into it.” The “speaking as” line was, “speaking as Mike McCready with more tattoos than anyone else in the band.” During ‘Even Flow,’ Ed is smoking during the solo break, and then goes over and puts his cigarette into Mike’s mouth as he finishes. After “Black” Ed says, “That last song was about being in love and it’s all over, this next song is about something scarier, being in love and you know it’s going to end soon,” and the band goes into ‘Parting Ways.’
It's not seen as a standout show on this tour and I can see why, but the band is on fire. Ed sounds great, the setlist is good (no rarities, but a lot of personal favorites) and the band is tight as hell. I'll be returning to this one again soon.

I've been cycling through the '00/'03/'05 shows.
Listened to Houston (Woodlands?) '03 for the first time today, the main set was good but the encores went downhill fast.

that was a lot of 2003 shows, especially once they started with the Fortunate Son/Know Your Rights/other sucky random cover of the moment runs

Check out the Fresno show I mentioned above. I was pleasantly surprised, but I shouldn't have been. I didn't give that run from the 2000 tour much credence when the bootlegs came out but Los Angeles > San Diego > Fresno > San Bernadino > Sacramento > San Francisco is really solid. There aren't any all-time classics there but they're all good and have what it is you seek.

Thats the one then. Seems like a really cool setlist.
Thanks.

My first show.
I listened to Miami '16 yesterday and it was pretty rough due to the vocal distortion on some of the best songs; almost unlistenable. I cleansed my palate by listening to Mansfield 1 '00--probably my favorite bootleg ever.
